Stelle Trentine grappa with Edelweiss

Ingrandisci

The name Edelweiss comes from the scientific Latin Leontopodium which literally means "leonine foot".
They are plants about 20-30 cm high, the leaves are covered by a silver hair and grow at the base of the plant as rose petals. The petals of the flowers are fleshy and velvety bracts, whitish in color, gathered together to form a star.
The edelweiss is a rare and protected plant and is a typical flower that grows on our Dolomites and the surrounding mountains, for this reason it is the symbol of our mountains.
In our grappa is in addition to a little honey to strengthen the intensity of the flavor.
