Anise is one of the oldest spices known and used by the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans.

Anise is an excellent digestif and an optimal remedy to treat a cough.

Its infusion is effective in combating stomach cramps and reducing nausea and vomiting.

very intense and delicate, typical of anise

fresh anise, persistent. The aroma is similar to that of fennel seeds, with a light mint aftertaste.

To be served:

  • straight, at the end of the meal
  • diluted with water, to quench thirst during the day
  • ‘with the fly’, i.e. with a coffee bean
